I used to have problems with giving my energy away to things that drained me from having time for myself and the things that made me happy. For example, I used to be nice to toxic people thinking they would be happy, but instead it came across as a sense of weakness and allowed others to bully my boundaries and upset me. Through a transformation of self awareness, I was able to recognize and accept my feelings. On the journey to protecting my own emotions, I discovered the route using my energy on the things that protects my energy. Here are 5 things I learned.

FINDING PURPOSE THROUGH ADVERSITY

You search for purpose through adversity to improve your life.  When you’re fed up with how life is working right now and if this continues to persist, in five years, it will be regretful. When you find the true meaning behind circumstances, you can understand your experiences more. People search for true purpose in circumstances so they can become a better person. They can wake up in the morning excited to start their pursuits in life. Your purpose is the driving force behind your excitement and vision for what you want. Your purpose becomes your bottom of how you want life to treat you. It helps you connect to something more secure that will allow your time and energy to make a difference.

When deciding to take this journey to purpose, you will tell yourself why it is important and must happen every time you think of giving up. These realizations can happen in the middle of adversity, usually when you are dealing with emotionally damaging situations. Embrace the hard work and continual effort that it will take for you to reach higher levels of yourself.  Break-Ups are hard, but once you remember what you are aiming for by standing by this change, your tough decisions becoming easier every day. When you don’t give up, you get the reward eventually.

2. Your purpose is directly apparent to everything you want and want to be. It may feel uncomfortable leaving a relationship, but the bottom line remains your purpose to become a person that attracts healthy relationships.

3. Believe that finding yourself is the right thing for advancement. Unhealthy toxic relationships drain you and drifts you from who you want to be. It does it so you have no energy to think of trying to improve. Improvement requires energy. Pro-long positive energy is needed for the advancement of life.

4. Be prepared that finding your purpose leads to dramatic, but positive, change in life. There is a rumble strip that all who takes this road must travel. When you find yourself at war with the change you are seeking, you are on the right path. Relax and let it flow. Choose authenticity over connection during these dramatic shifts. Anything that is not in harmony with you will reveal itself.

5. Apply Faith in knowing that finding yourself will grant you power to shape your future. If it were easy, everyone would do it. Never accept a setback or failure as permanent defeat. Staying true to who you are willing to become is where you place your efforts.

When you first decide to be on this journey to finding purpose in life or circumstances, you will experience resistance. Limiting beliefs that you had before will try to stop you in your tracks or have you bargaining to feel comfort again. The old beliefs you were programmed to tells you that your new beliefs are uncomfortable. These are old habits wanting to do what they usually do. Its primary goal is to keep you uncomfortable in your new beliefs. Negative thoughts loose power when you don’t let them sit in your brain and form into things. Remember why this must be uncomfortable for the moment and vision the positive side of why change is needed. Keep the positive vision of your result in your mind and never let go until the positive vision until you reach your outcome.

You want what it looks like you can’t have. If your motivation to live a free and happy life are all inspired from positivity, you know what you do want and neglect identifying what you don’t want. You get only what you focus on.

  2. Clear Vision: A Definite Plan and Definite Purpose gives clear vision. A clear mental picture of where you are headed will always keep you moving towards where you want to be.
  3. Running Towards: When you focus on what you are running from, somehow, through energy attraction, you bring what you don’t want towards you. When you keep your energy on what you are running towards, you increases the chances of succeeding, and if you never give up, you will succeed.
  4. Friendly Universe: When you believe that you live in a friendly Universe, the world is friendly to you. That’s how blessings arrive. The Universe delivers according to your beliefs about it. Test it, and see how that is true for your own life.
  5. Mindset Change: A stuck mindset keeps you stuck. Transmutation comes by the renewing of your mind. A mind must be free to develop mentally. Old patterns and the way grandma did it will hold you back. It takes practice, but allowing your mind to flow will show you new things. But your mind only does what you allow it to do. Be open, receptive and believe that you can do it differently.

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Meditate on whatever is true, noble, just, pure, lovely and of good report. Do this so all your thoughts can give you peace.

Many times we offend people with the boundaries that we implement for our life. What can we do? Forget our values for a moment? Allow people into our extended boundaries?

Doing none of that is okay.

1. Remember your why!

Remember how unfulfilling life was when you compromised your values for others? You were not operating in your true authentic self when you allowed unacceptable behavior towards you. You felt exhausted and empty. Probably left emotionally unstable and filled with hurt feelings. You never want to feel like that again, so you got you some boundaries! Good for you!🎉

2. You are fabulous!

You are quite aware of your values. If others choose not to receive you as you receive yourself, then they are not worth your time. You deserve better boo!

3. You have been through enough already!

It no longer serves you go through the same bad experiences over and over again. You’re to fabulous for that. You are too busy seeking the positive things in life. There’s no need to make yourself available to be hurt by someone who does not respect who you are.

4. You are focused on living your best life.

You have no desire to go back and forth with people about what boundaries you implement to protect your life. You just set them and adjust. Your red flags come up as needed, it’s not like you are calling for them. The universe agrees with what you implement for your life. The signs appear and you adjust when appropriate. Unfortunately, that is at the expense of the person who is trying to cross your boundaries, not you.

5. You get to sleep peacefully at night.

Protecting your heart and your best interest is your thing. When you stand firm to your boundaries you won’t be disappointed with yourself later. You get to sleep peacefully, knowing that you stood up for your self worth and not self sabotage your best interest for the benefit of others bad behavior towards you.

Be proud of yourself for standing your ground by not allowing yourself to be compromised to please others.
